Langford Court North, Langford

Langford Court North is a family run farm of 230 acres set in the beautiful Devonshire Countryside.

The Manor of Langford and Langford Court were recorded in the Domesday 1086. A Grade 2 star listed building holds many of the features you would expect to find in an old medieval farmhouse.



Newcourt Barton, Langford

Newcourt Barton is a 4 star silver award Bed and Breakfast set 4 miles from Junction 28 on the M5 in the heart of Devon near to Cullompton and Exeter.

Peace and tranquility are guaranteed on this family run farm surrounded by acres of rolling hills, idyllic scenery and winding river valleys. Guests can look forward to a delicious home cooked breakfast using locally sourced produce served in the spacious dining room overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements catered for.


Higher Wiscombe, Southleigh

Run by Alistair and Lorna Handyside, these three luxury self catering holiday cottages are peaceful, secluded and set in a beautiful valley, just a few miles from the beaches at Beer, Sidmouth and Branscombe.

Each cottage has a private garden, barbeque and stunning panoramic rural views. The ensuite bathrooms have roll top baths and powerful showers. Dogs are welcome and there is a heated outdoor pool for the warmer months.

Just four miles from us, Charlie and Julia are the ultimate hosts and ensure that all their guests are thoroughly looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Set in the beautiful East Devon countryside, only five minutes from the A30, Larkbeare is ideally located for those wishing to explore Exeter as well as the surrounding area from where we source many of our ingredients.

All bedrooms are en suite (comprising both a walk-in shower and bath) and contain all the creature comforts you would expect as well as some nice little extra touches including Penhaligon's toiletries and heated mist free mirrors. Wireless internet connection is available across the whole property. All rooms have good lighting, spacious hanging cupboard with bathrobes and extremely comfortable king-size Vi-Spring beds with Egyptian cotton linen and goose down duvets. If preferred, you can also have your bed made up with sheets, blankets and foam pillows.

We are not the only ones to rate Larkbeare. It currently features in Alastair Sawday’s Special Places to Stay and has been awarded Five Stars and a Gold Award by VisitBritain, as well as a rarely given award for the quality of their breakfasts. The business has a strong environmental policy designed to actively reduce its waste and carbon emissions as well as a commitment to buying locally for which they have earned a Gold Award from The Green Tourism Business Scheme. Nature is never far away here.

Breakfast is served in the striking Dining Room which has far reaching views across the garden and might include their own organic yoghurt, apple and blackberry compote, freshly squeezed orange juice and dazzling eggs from nearby Talaton. Afternoon tea with Aga baked scones and homemade jam is served in the cosy Drawing Room - the perfect setting in which to relax with a book or newspaper. For those travelling to and from Exeter International Airport or Whimple station, transport can be arranged.
